Packaging & Production Assistant (50%)

As a Packaging & Production Assistant, you are an important part of our team. You ensure that our handcrafted chocolate and confectionery creations are carefully packaged and support our chocolatiers with various production tasks. Through your attention to detail and careful way of working, you make an important contribution to the exceptional quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Packaging: Carefully packaging pralines, truffles, chocolate bars, and other confectionery products in accordance with our quality standards.
  • Order Fulfilment: Picking and preparing customer orders for shipping and delivery.
  • Production Support: Assisting with various tasks in chocolate production, including preparation work, decorating products, and supporting other production processes as instructed.
  • Quality Control: Carrying out visual inspections of products and packaging to ensure flawless presentation and the highest quality.
  • Hygiene & Housekeeping: Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) while ensuring a clean and organised workplace.
  • General Duties: Supporting seasonal production, stock-taking, and other day-to-day tasks within the atelier.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Ideally, you have experience in food production, packaging, or a similar field. Career changers with an interest in craftsmanship and hands-on work are also welcome.
  • Work Ethic: You work independently, reliably, and carefully, with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Manual Dexterity: Good fine motor skills and enjoyment of precise, detail-oriented work.
  • Flexibility: A flexible, hands-on attitude, especially during seasonal peak periods.
  • Team Player: You enjoy working in a small team and have an open, friendly, and supportive personality.
  • Language Skills: Good German language skills.

Chocolatier 60-80%

As a Chocolatier, you are responsible for the refinement of chocolate and the production of premium confectionery products. Your focus lies on craftsmanship, precision, and quality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Production & Finishing: Crafting pralinés, truffles, chocolate bars, hollow figures, and other chocolate and confectionery products while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Creative Development: Developing new flavour profiles, fillings (ganaches, caramels, pralinés, etc.), and seasonal collections.
  • Decoration: Decorating moulds and applying a variety of finishing and surface techniques.
  • Quality Control: Inspecting raw materials and monitoring storage conditions (temperature and humidity), as chocolate is a sensitive natural product.
  • Hygiene: Strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).

Requirements

  • Education: Completed apprenticeship as a confectioner or pastry chef with a focus on chocolate, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of chocolate processing and related production techniques.
  • Craftsmanship: A steady hand and a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Sensory Skills: A refined palate for balancing flavours and textures.
  • Working Style: Clean, precise, and patient approach to work.
