RETURN POLICY

1. Scope
This right of withdrawal applies to orders placed by consumers. For consumers residing in the EU who place orders via distance communication (e.g. online shop, email, telephone), the following right of withdrawal applies, unless a statutory exception applies. For orders with a delivery address in Switzerland, there is no statutory right of withdrawal; our Terms and Conditions (AGB) apply.

2. Right of withdrawal for EU consumers (distance selling)
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day on which you or a third party named by you (who is not the carrier) has taken possession of the goods.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal:

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification before the 14-day period has expired. (Optional: A model withdrawal form is available upon request.)

3. Statutory exceptions (no right of withdrawal)
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for:

• perishable goods or goods with a short shelf life (our chocolate and confectionery products),
• non-prefabricated/personalised goods or goods made to customer specifications,
• sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery (where applicable).

4. Consequences of withdrawal (only if no exception applies)
We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (excluding additional costs arising if you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods – whichever is earlier.

Reimbursement will be made using the same payment method that you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Return & costs:
You must return the goods within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal, to the return address below. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods, unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective delivery).

Compensation for value:
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

5. Defects, transport damage & warranty
Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. Should products arrive damaged or defective, please notify us within 5 working days of receipt by email at orders@thomasmuller.ch.

Please keep the packaging & goods and provide photos so that we can document the transport damage and quickly arrange a replacement or refund.
